Printmaking is the ultimate media.
Now it's the ultimate time.
There no better choice than the four of us!
The subject we've chosen is the best!
We are super good.
Superheroes.
The dirtiest, sexiest, coolest.
The most powerful new wave in Estonian printmaking ever.
You must see us, buy us and promote us.
Be at our exhibition or you won't exist.

Copulating=copying.
Printmaking is repeating and copying an object. Numerous prints are created from one object, yet the results being all different from the original. Similar process of copying exists in the most natural form as well – for example flora and fauna. Also, human beings are making constant copies of themselves that come out quite different from their originals, no matter how much one tries to get the exact copy. Thus, the act of printmaking can be compared to the act of copulation.

Current exhibition is an allegorical narrative about the essence of printmaking; about the idea and absurdity of reproduction; about numerous amounts, relationships between nature and man, copulation and copying.

This exhibition is based on a narrative where the protagonists copy everything that exist. Just like nature, our protagonists have no direct motives for reproduction; the act is important per se. The act of copulating is sexy, dirty and disgusting. We are discussing it in a more decent way, added by humour and the childish desire to play.

What will happen when we copy an object that is capable of multiplying itself? When the copies start to reproduce themselves and go out of control ...

The jungle of printmaking!
