Applying for a studio

To apply for a studio space in the EAA buildings at 6 and 8 Vabaduse väljak, you must submit a free-format application letter indicating the preferred size and intended use (e.g. painting, sculpture, printmaking) of the studio. Send your application to our general email address ekl [at] eaa.ee.
When a suitable studio becomes available, the secretary of the EAA will send a message to the applicants in the queue, letting them know a date and time for viewing the studio. After receiving requests from the applicants following the viewing, the Studio Committee will allocate the available studio to one of the applicants.
The members of the Studio Committee are Vano Allsalu, Elin Kard, Inga Heamägi, Mari Roosvalt and Tiiu Kirsipuu.
 
Artists who wish to use a studio at the ARS Art Factory or the EAA building at 2 Hobusepea should contact the EAA service manager Indrek Köster.
 
PREMISES FOR SHORT-TERM RENTAL
 
Studio 323, ARS building  
A studio space for short-term rental, e.g. to prepare for an exhibition.
Floor area: 52 square metres. Ceiling height: 2.9 metres. Running water. Rental period: 1 to 3 months.
Price: 234 euros per month + VAT, includes rent and utilities.
The cost of electricity will be added based on consumption.

ARS Project Space   
The Project Space on the ground floor of the ARS building is available for organising exhibitions, workshops or concerts and preparing large-scale exhibition projects. The space can be accessed from within the building and has a separate entrance from the courtyard. Floor area: 205 square metres. Rental period: 1 to 3 months.

Studio for visiting artists at 6 Vabaduse väljak
The studio is located at the heart of the Tallinn art scene, sharing the building with Tallinn Art Hall, the offices of the Estonian Artists Association, the Center for Contemporary Arts Estonia and many art studios, with the Kuku club in the basement and Tuum cafe at street level.
The studio is located on the fifth floor and divided between two levels, with a combined floor area of about 50 square metres. It is best suited for 1 or 2 people, but actually has more sleeping places (2 double beds). The living space, on a raised mezzanine level, has a well-equipped kitchenette and washing machine. The studio space with shower and toilet are on the lower level.
 
Price: 25 euros per day, with an additional fee of 10 euros per day for each additional guest.
For extended stays (15 days or more), a discount rate of 20 euros per day applies starting from the 15th day.
