Estonian artists Laivi and Hedi Jaansoo have been selected for the 2023 artist-in-residence programme at the renowned WIELS art centre in Brussels. The opportunity for two Estonian artists to take part in the residency is provided by the WIELS and the Estonian Centre for Contemporary Art.

On the occasion of the Estonian Academy of Arts' 108th anniversary, we will hold a public auction where the works of both alumni and students will be sold. The auction proceeds will be collected to support young artists of EKA.
Väinö Tanner Foundation´s writer and artist residence scholarships for 2023 are again open for all Estonian and in Estonia working artists and artisans, writers, poets and translators.
Väinö Tanner Foundation is an independent private Finnish Foundation which has supported Finnish and Estonian art and literature by providing residences for Finnish and Estonian artists, artisans, writers and poets for over 30 years.
The designer of this year’s exhibition, Enn Tegova thinks that it is the ultimate moment to start preparing for a serious performance and wants the artists to surprise the visitors with the highest artistic quality from our city.
Authors from all over Estonia can participate, and the designer intends to convene a jury to select the works.
