19th Tallinn Print Triennial opening

This summer is butter yellow! 19th Tallinn Print Triennial invites everyone to the opening party of the main exhibition on Friday, 20 June at 18:00 at Tallinn Art Hall Lasnamäe pavilion!

Siim Pojeng and Groove Research DJ set (IT) will perform at the opening party and a cocktail bar will be open. The party will go on until late!

The next day, 21 June, at 12 noon, there will be a curatorial tour with Marika Agu and the artists participating in the exhibition. The tour will be in English.

Starting from 21 June, there will be an artist tour every Saturday at 13:00, with a participating artist at the Triennal.

On 21 August, the exhibition catalogue of the 19th Tallinn Print Triennial will be presented at Tallinn Art Hall Lasnamäe pavilion.

The main exhibition will culminate on 29 August with a finnisage event at the Lindakivi Centre, featuring artists John Grzinich (EST/USA), Lauri Lest (EE),  Doris Hallmägi (EE),  Tõnis Jürgens (EE), Semjon Hanin (LV), Zuza Banasińska (PL) ja Maria Mayland (GER)

The exhibition  focuses on reflecting on the medium of graphic art. Drawing on the architecture of this year’s Tallinn Print Trennial’s main venue, which can be seen as an endless loop, the triennial invites us to imagine the life cycle of a graphic figure: what it is born from, where it dies, and everything that happens in between.
The works of 14 artists displayed in the Tallinn Art Hall’s Lasnamäe pavilion offer multiple approaches to addressing the unprecedented information glut all around us.
