The theme of this year's annual exhibition is feeling and perception in the moment. The author of the idea and designer of the exhibition is Karmo Mende.
Works can be submitted until 28 November 2025, at www.kunstimaja.ee
Feeling and perception in the moment. What does this feeling do to artists and their close and distant relationships, and in what way does it affect the space around the artist.
In our turbulent times, is it possible to capture the moment and be present in it? Or is the only choice between going with the flow and swimming against the current with all one's might?
Each author may submit one work.
There are no restrictions on format or technique, but preference will be given to works created this year. As the exhibition space is not unlimited, we ask authors to be reasonable when choosing the dimensions of their works.
The weight limit for works hung from the ceiling is 25 kg.
Please indicate the material(s), technique, dimensions and year of the work, as well as the approximate weight of works to be hung from the ceiling.
Be sure to indicate if AI was used in the creation of the work.
The works for the exhibition will be selected by the designer and the author/artist. The artist makes the first selection, choosing the most expressive work from among their own works. The designer makes the second selection from among the submitted works. Responsibility is shared equally between the designer and the author: the best selection from the author and the best selection from the designer in the interests of the exhibition as a whole.
The deadline for submitting works is midnight on 28 November 2025, and they can be submitted to www.kunstimaja.ee.
As in previous years, you can also put your works up for sale in the NOBA art environment.
In addition, two prizes will be awarded at this year’s annual exhibition, supported by the Tartu art collectors Veljo Ipits, Reigo Kuivjõgi and Margus Punab. Visitors to the exhibition will be able to vote for an audience award and the jury will select an incentive prize for a young artist. Each prize has a monetary value of €3000.
