Award jury of the Tallinn 6th International Drawing Triennial Impulse has given five equal awards to Giulia Lanza (Italy), Johanna Love (UK), Ulvi Haagensen, Ilmar Kruusamäe and Maarja Nurk (Estonia).
Thirteen artists have been chosen for honourable mention: Naoji Ishiyama & Kaija Koljonen (Japan/Finland), Ahmed Modhir (Iraq/Sweden), Julien Morel (France), Anna Gaya Nidzgorska (Austria), Juan Perdiguero (Spain), Albert Gulk, Jüri Kask, Feliks Sarv, Pavel Semjonov, Maria Sidljarevitš, Angela Soop and Aili Vahtrapuu (Estonia).
Members of the award jury: Vano Allsalu, Loit Jõekalda, Indrek Köster, Mai Levin, Matti Pärk, Lembe Ruben, Elnara Taidre, Mari-Liis Tammi.
The Tallinn 6th International Drawing Triennial Impulse took place from 9th July to 1st August 2021 in ARS Art Factory. 90 artists and art historians from 21 countries took part in the exhibition and accompanying seminar.
The triennial was supported by the Tallinn Culture and Sports Department, the Cultural Endowment of Estonia, the Estonian National Culture Foundation, the Estonian Artists' Association and the Association of Estonian Printmakers.
