Copper Leg Art Residency Open Call for artists in Estonia (Winter / Spring 2021)
The Copper Leg Art Residency is located 18 km from Tallinn city center, in the village of Vaskjala, in an old school building surrounded by fields. The house was constructed in 1934 and was renovated in the summer of 2017. It is a meeting point for creative people, visual artists, musicians, writers, etc.

Eva Mustonen and Ingel Vaikla to take part in the WIELS residency programme in 2021
Estonian artists Eva Mustonen and Ingel Vaikla have been selected for the 2021 artist-in-residence programme at the renowned WIELS art centre in Brussels. The opportunity for two Estonian artists to take part in the residency is provided by WIELS and the Estonian Centre for Contemporary Art.

Registration for the annual exhibition of Tartu art 2020 has begun!
Works for the annual exhibition of Tartu art 2020 can be posted via the website of the Tartu Art House until 16 November.
The title of this year’s exhibition is “Walking the Line” and its designer is Eveli Varik. Each artist can register maximum TWO artworks/series that have been made in the year 2020. There are no limitations to the material, technique or form of the works.

The winners of the international artistic bookbinding exhibition-competition Scripta manent VI „Forestonia. Estwald. Mine Metsa!“ have been announced
On Friday 11 September, ARS Art Factory was the venue for a seminar in the programme of the International Artistic Bookbinding Exhibition “Scripta manent VI”. It was followed by the festive opening of the exhibition where authors of the prize-winning entries were announced. 129 artists from 15 countries sent their works to the exhibition.

Väinö Tanner Foundation is an independent private Finnish Foundation which has supported Finnish and Estonian art and literature by providing residences for Finnish and Estonian artists, artisans, writers and poets for 30 years.
