Nes Artist Residency January 2022
During the Icelandic winter, the days are short and the nights long, January is the darkest month of the year, and as the warm glow of Christmas fades, we yearn for summer days.
To welcome in a lighter, brighter 2022 we wish to “Light Up” our town by engaging artists to create artworks with light, through the use of LED’s, projection, shadows, reflections, etc, indoors and outdoors around the town of Skagaströnd.

A video work of “A rescripted visit to EKKM’s collections” was launched
The opening project of the 2021 season at the Contemporary Art Museum of Estonia (EKKM) “A rescripted visit to EKKM’s collections” transformed the museum’s exhibition spaces into a repository of artworks and offered guided tours of its collections, conducted by the production platform Reskript (Maarin Mürk and Henri Hütt).

The winner of the Audience Award of the 21st Annual Exhibition of the Estonian Artists’ Association is ceramicist Anne Türn
Art patrons Riivo Anton, Aivar Berzin, Jaan Manitski, Tiit Pruuli and Rain Tamm have presented a prize of 5,000 euros for the winner of the audience vote in the Spring Exhibition. Visitors of the exhibition selected their favourite from among the 71 participating artists.

Invitation to apply for the 6th Tallinn Drawing Triennial
The 6th Tallinn International Drawing Triennial IMPULSE takes place from 9th July to 1st August in ARS project space.
The Triennial encourages applications from artists reflecting upon the impulses behind their artistic visions. We welcome hand drawings since 2015 completed without digital or printed assistance. Please take into consideration that in the exhibition space the max. width of the work is 1 metre.

TOK will curate Tallinn Photomonth’s main exhibition at the Contemporary Art Museum of Estonia (EKKM)
