Narva Art Residency (NART) is looking for an ASSISTANT who can speak both Estonian and Russian and writes good texts. He/she will assist the NART team, manage spreadsheets, and create systems. The main tasks of the assistant will be to coordinate communication activities, including social media; organize administrative tasks such as preparing project applications and monitoring the budget, as well as making documents; communicate with NART guests and clients through various channels. The post is for a 0.75 workload.

Residency period: September – December 2022
Duration: 2 weeks – 2 months
Eligibility: Artists must be able to cover their own travel and living expenses.
Support: A private bedroom, studio space, and the possibility to use the printing press and photography darkroom, and shared kitchen.

The Estonian Centre for Contemporary Art announces the open call for artists to represent Estonia at the 60th Venice biennale in 2024. The artists need to present a proposal which would introduce the main focus of the candidate’s previous works and express and explain the motivation behind the idea to work with a national pavilion’s project at the biennale.
